Miss You....

Somewhere
Far away
Where it's night
When it's supposed to be day
You're there.
I still here your voice
Feel your touch
Remember the way
We used to laugh.
It's hard to say
How much I wish
To see your face again.

Alone at Home

The clock ticks
Wind blows
Alone I am
At home

The birds tweet
Leaves fall
Alone I am
At home

Right in front
The books lay
Doesn't want to touch
A single page

Tick tock
So it goes
And alone I am
At home

The River's Journey

A tiny stream showed up
In the high mountains afar
The water flowed downhill
And sped like a car

It grew a little broader
Its waters were crystal clear
Trouts swam here and there
It turned into a young new river

It flowed and flowed and flowed
It broadened a little more
It came to a small nice village
The people there rode boats

The river was proud of itself
It was large and it was strong
It doesn't flow much fast now
The way it was before

Its waters are not much clear
The trouts have gone too
The river was sad and bitter
And it slowly and lonely wandered

And now came the surprise
For the old mighty river
Many fish and prawns appeared
They swam and lived in here

The river said to its new friends,
"I'm old and I'm weak"
The fish led it to some distance
And showed the mighty sea

Care!

A child dug the soil
Planted a seed
The rain came day by day
And made it a tree

It bore many fruits
The huge branches gave shade
To many unknown travellers
Who walked all night and day

One day the child came
As a young man of twenty six
Touched the tree and asked,
"How are you doing my pal?"

Lo and behold!
The mighty tree spoke
The man was shocked
He fell down with a thud!

The tree spoke softly
To the young man,
"My friends are all dead,
hence I'm sad"

"Thanks for giving me life,
I gave a lot but got little
I don't ask much, young master
Stop destroying my loved ones, kind sir."

The man's eyes filled with tears
His heart filled with shame
To be a self-centered human
The rulers who didn't care!

The Flower That We Saw Yesterday

You came to us
Just like the wind
We thought you were a gale
But you were not more than
A mild breeze......
You voice was soft
Like the rustling of leaves
But on one sad day
The storms found you
And threatened you to change.....
They wanted you to
Make all the mighty trees sway.....
You tried your best
And we could not defend
Who thought you'd become
The flower that we saw yesterday?

Bittersweet Memories

The faint glow of your smile
Never fails to linger in my mind
Though we are apart for miles
I know you'll always have the time

The laughter, the cries
Are thousands just like fire flies
The memories, the glowing lights
Your smile's the most pleasing sight

But on one lonely night
You suddenly went out of sight
My friend I won't forget
That day I cried with all my might
